- Abstract
An interview with Xudong Zhang, professor in Department of East Asian Studies at New York University, is presented who talks about Noble award winner Chinese writer Guan Moye better known as pen name Mo Yan. Xudong Zhang discusses some of his works which are not very popular and themes of his works. He further violates the rumors that some of his writings were banned in China and states that Noble prize given to Mo Yan will expand the reach of Chinese Literature.
