- Abstract
The article explores the importance of architectural heritage in France. Historical accounts prove that the French value every aspect of their culture including their buildings, architecture, social setting and public places. It is their primary concern to associate the past with the future as it preserves traces of modernity and structuralism. Moreover, modern architecture integrates the aesthetic value of nature with sustainability resulting into the conservation and survival of many architectural structures and buildings.
