- Abstract
The article profiles Francisco R. Angones, who was the first Cuban-born president of the Florida Bar. He came to the U.S. by way of the Operation Peter Pan when he was 10 years old. He studied at La Salle High School and graduated from the University of Miami Law School. He mainly focuses on defense and commercial litigation and was best known for human-right cases. Angones became the first Hispanic president of the Dade County Bar Association in 1994.
