- Abstract
The article focuses on the introduction of the U.S. Supreme Court with the rule for First Amendment free speech cases. Accordingly, the court has examined more than three decades of First Amendment precedents and has held that the First Amendment does not protect public employees from discipline when making statements regarding matters of public concern pursuant to their duties.
