- Abstract
The article offers information on the proposed Indian Child Welfare Act legislations in various U.S. states in 2011. It says that North Carolina proposed a house resolution to reestablish the House Study Committee for culture and customs preservation of Indian children on April 7 that would establish a House Select Committee on Indian culture preservation. Furthermore, Washington state introduced their State Indian Child Welfare Act that would involve all Indian child custody proceedings.
