- Abstract
The article presents a study which compares a 32-element (32ch) and an 8-element (8ch) phased array head coil considering their potential to detect functional connectivity within neural resting-state networks (RSNs). The study was performed to 26 adults who undergo resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at 3.0 Tesla. It concluded that 32ch head coil do not have significant advantages in detecting independent component analysis (ICA)-based functional connectivity within RSNs.
