- Abstract
The article discusses strategies used to develop the information literacy skills of nursing students. The strategies used to create activities which teach basic database search skills for a Computers in Nursing course are described. The process of collaboration between faculty and a library instruction coordinator is discussed. The importance of information literacy skills for evidence-based practice is discussed. A description of the library database module developed by the faculty, Educational Advancement for Registered Nurses (EARN) curriculum coordinator, and library instruction coordinator is presented.
