- Authors
Brook, Robert
- Abstract
The article discusses the evaluations of ideas or interventions reported on journals intended to improve health care such as whether paying physicians and hospitals an extra amount for performance can reduce mortality rates. It notes the two basic approaches in developing health policies, one which is more likely to be tested and implemented by the magnitude of change and the other one can adequately test a concept. It mentions the free medication access for patients discharged from hospital.
