- Abstract
Deals with a study which tested the hypothesis that the coronary artery, ubiquitin proteasome system (UPS), is functionally active in an experimental model of early atherogenesis. Tendency of the UPS to be impaired; Step taken to examine whether exposure to the cardiovascular risk factor hypercholesterolemia is associated with enhanced ubiquitination; Result that occurs from an increase in ubiquitin-protein.
