A computer-aided analysis of John Locke's medical vocabulary.
- Authors
Meynell, G. G.
- Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the vocabulary of practicing physician John Locke in the collection of his works, which were in collaboration with another physician Thomas Sydenham. After the transcription of their work, it was found that the spellings used by the two physicians were different. Locke's rough drafts at Oxford, England were juxtaposed with the fair copies in London, England.
