What Are F-Waves and What Do They Tell Us?
Abstract
The article focuses on the origin and underlying physiological mechanisms of F-waves, late responses observed in electrophysiological assessments of acute, progressive weakness. It also mentions the study, conducted ex vivo on mice, reveals that F-waves are solely generated by motor nerves from the ventral horn of the spinal cord and are dependent on intact synapses.
