- Abstract
The article presents the case study of a 43-year-old man who was involved in a motorcycle accident and broke his first rib. The man suffered limb fractures, abduction weakness and sensory changes of his right shoulder, and dislocated his first rib with disruption of the costovertebral and costotransverse joints. Also discussed are other similar cases, the results of the patient's chest x-ray, and management of the dislocated rib.
