- Authors
Miller, Roxanne Greitz
- Abstract
The article focuses on the implementation of curbside recycling program in the U.S. The term "curbside recycling" refers to the collection and sorting phases of household materials. The shift to this trend of waste management is due partly to the crisis in landfill availability hence, waste management is being diverted to recycling. However, there are negative feedback regarding the curbside recycling program specifically, the requirement of additional labor to do the responsibility. Information on how to sort properly and recycle household materials such as, glass, metal cans, papers and plastics is included.
