- Abstract
The article discusses the findings of a quasi-experimental study on how an education for sustainability unit impacts the knowledge and attitudes of Bachelor of Education (BEd) primary students at the University of New England in New South Wales. It states that the unit enhanced the students' understanding of various environmental issues. It concludes that students have diverted their concerns from crime and illegal immigration issues toward environmental matters such as land clearance.
