- Abstract
The article focuses on the distributional incidence of a carbon tax applied in Canada to motivate households and firms to reduce emissions of the greenhouse gases (GHGs). It informs that the implication of such tax policy might aggravate the pattern of income inequality among Canadian households. It also informs that both income-side and the expenditure-side have been affected by the incidence of a carbon tax and mentions that the fairness of tax policies can be measured by income of citizens.
