- Abstract
The main finding provides a remarkable insight into the potential impact of the interaction between I FTO i gene and diet/lifestyle intervention in the regulation of body weight. As to the first point raised by Matee Ullah et al., when evaluating the frequency of I FTO i genotypes according to the genders, I TT i genotype frequencies in male and female subjects were 30% and 37.5%, respectively. The difference between I FTO i gene genotype frequencies of male and female subjects was not statistically significant ( I p i = 0.894).
