- Abstract
In recent years, the increase in the conscious population increases the need to examine the product quality obtained based on agricultural production methods. There are various approaches to product quality obtained as a result of agricultural production. Crops resulting from genetic engineering methods (GMOs) are efficient. However, it is assumed that this unnatural process will have negative effects on nature and human health in the long term. When we look at the products obtained by industrial agriculture methods, although it is high in terms of the amount of product, the high amount of fertilizer and insecticide used adversely affects human health. Finally, organic products obtained by organic agriculture ami to protect both the environment and consumer health by eliminating the negative effects of industrial production methods and genetic engineering, but while the amount of product obtained by this production method is low, its cost is high and does not appeal to all segments of society. In this study, a hybrid model was created by using the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) and VIKOR methods from Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) methods together and a decision support system was developed to propose a sustainable solution to the product selection problem obtained by agricultural methods. In the first step of the method, Satisfaction (C1), Economy (C2), and Health (C3) criteria were evaluated with F-AHP, and weights were determined. In the second step, the evaluation of the proposed agricultural product by the VIKOR method was made. This research amis to create a complete framework for assessing and rating the product suitability obtained using agricultural technologies. To demonstrate the validity of the proposed product, an application was made on a real problem with current data.
