- Abstract
The leaching of copper from a copper-lead-zinc polymetallic carbonate oxide ore in Congo (Brazzaville) by sulfuric acid was studied. The effects of acidizing method, acid-ore ratio, leaching temperature, initial pulp concentration and ore size on the leaching rate of copper were investigated. The results show that under the conditions of room temperature, leaching time of 2 h, acid-ore ratio of 140 kg/t, initial pulp concentration of 27.5%, ore size of P80 = 105 µm, copper leaching rate can reach 92.19% by three-stage decreasing acid. The leaching effect is good.
