Influence of Back Blade Shape and Number Combination Design on Slurry Pump Characteristics.
- Abstract
To study the influence law of geometric parameters of back blades on the slurry pump characteristics, with the 40ZJ-33 slurry pump as the research object, four combination plans of back blade parameter are obtained by changing the shapes and numbers of back blades in the front and rear of the pump chamber, and software ANSYS is used for numerical simulation and calculation of solid-liquid two-phase flow of each back blade plan to obtain the influence law of changes in back blade shapes and numbers on the external characteristics of the slurry pump, liquid pressure of the pump chamber and axial force. The results show that, the shape of the back blade has a dominant influence on the external characteristics of the slurry pump, and the use of backward curved back blades can improve the efficiency of the slurry pump but will reduce the pump head. The use of radial straight back blades and the appropriate increase in the number of back blades can reduce the overall pressure in the front and rear of the pump chamber. Under each flow condition, the axial force of A1 to A4 plans increases and then decreases, the axial force is the smallest when the shape of back blades is backward curved and the number is 12, the axial force is the largest when the shape of back blades is backward curved and the number is 8, and the increase of the number of back blades lead to the increase of the axial force when the radial straight back blades are used.
