- Title
Optimization Design of Cooling System for Marine Diesel Engine Based on AMEsim.
- Abstract
Based on the given constraint indicators and some structural parameters, a cooling system model of a diesel engine prototype are established, and the rationality and effectiveness of the model are verified through the preliminary test data. On this basis, a cooling system model of the modified diesel engine is established, and the total cooling area of the cooler is adjusted, so that the cooling system can meet the indicator requirements of the modified engine. By changing the effective area of the cooler, the optimal effective area of the cooler in the cooling system of the modified engine is 1.4 times of that of the engine prototype. After conversion, it is concluded that the cooler of the modified engine can meet the performance requirements by using only 80 fins. The cooling system model based on AMEsim improves the development efficiency of the engine cooling system in the early stage and shortens the whole product development cycle.
