- Abstract
The article focuses on the relationship between guideline-recommended peak anti-Xa levels and trough levels among pregnant women receiving anticoagulants with low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH). Topics discussed include common use of LMWH as anticoagulant particularly among pregnant women with mechanical prosthetic heart valves (MPHV) and the results of the study that observed 30 pregnant women who received LMWH.
