- Abstract
The phenomenon of migration resulting from environmental and compelling reasons in primitive societies became compulsory in later processes. Especially the rapid transportation and communication opportunities brought by technological developments have gained an international dimension to migration movements. Migration is a dynamic phenomenon that is examined by different scientific disciplines not only in terms of displacement but also in terms of social changes. However, global migration movements deeply affect the countries receiving immigration in all areas and compel new policies. Regardless of the type, distance or place of migration, it experiences very dramatic events during and after migration. In order to overcome the negativities experienced by immigrants, the country receiving immigration must have produced institutional adjustment policies. It is important to create common values so that different communities can live together after migration. Thus, an environment in which differences can live in peace without peace is established. It is inevitable that societies with different socio-cultural structures after immigration mobility have created changes in both communities. The changes need to be handled within the context of a multicultural society without assimilating or ghettoizing in the new lives of immigrants, in terms of both the policies of societies that accept immigrants, and in this adaptation process of immigrants. In this study, the difficulties experienced by the societies that accept immigrants and have to live with them and the social changes they experience will be analyzed as a qualitative research within the framework of integration, assimilation and multiculturalism within the framework of compliance.
