- Abstract
A criticism is provided of the performance of the U.S. radio comedian Jack Benny on the mid 20th century television (TV) show "The Jack Benny Program." An overview of television critics' attitudes towards Benny's transition from radio broadcasting to TV, including his regard to his early career in vaudeville entertainment, is provided.
