- Abstract
This paper presents a model to solve the problem of waste time in one of the factories for ready-made clothes that specializes in the production of the (T-shirt) only, and the arrangement of the machines and design poise production line are the main solution to the problem. The use of specialized machines in the production line (T-shirt) and assesses the efficiency indicators and use productivity standards by balance production lines inside the knitting halls, and the operating times were calculated for each stage using stop watch method. It has been working to reduce the number of manpower used in production lines while reducing the operating time of the clothing pieces as shown by the search results, and conducted a search through several stages. The analysis phase: Where the sample and production line analyze and describe the current status of the plant, which conducted the study. The proposed design of the production line: The work aims to design production line (T-shirt) and works to reduce operating time and reduce handling time and reduce labor to assist in handling the stage. Stage of the selection and evaluation system proposed. The results have reached the extent of the effecting on the design of production lines to reduce operating time with different order of production processes where the production time was reduced and increasing the production rates for the production line. It has been reduced employment assistance through arranging machines, It was developed three assumptions for the operation and it was the most important results reduce the operating time in the second assumption (53 seconds) to (50 seconds) in the third scenario, where it was dispensed from a man handling in the third assumption, and increased production rates in the third assumption at a rate of 33 pieces (T-shirt) from the second assumption (the current user in the factory).
