Introduction: Originated in Wuhan (China), the Coronavirus has spread since the end of 2019. The pneumonia originating from the virus causes pneumocytes shedding and interstitial inflammation. Due to its quick spread and the way it acts in the body, restrictive and emergency measures have been taken. The closing of gyms caused new adaptations for workouts during the pandemic. Objective: To analyze the impacts caused by the practice of physical exercise during the Coronavirus-2019 pandemic, in bodybuilding practitioners in the city of Montes Claros-MG. Materials and Methods: This is a qualitative research conducted with 7 individuals of both genders, aged 18 to 60 years old. The subjects were initially contacted by their personal trainer, who was authorized to pass on the contact details for participation in the research. In order to participate in the research, the interviewees should fit the requirements, which presents as fundamental the personal training accompaniment. The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee. Results: The search for physical exercise practices occurred with the intention of providing a better quality of life to the practitioners, who adapted the best way they could, adjusting the necessary materials to perform workouts at home with onsite personal training monitoring, or remotely. Conclusion: We conclude that during the Covid-19 pandemic period, the practitioners felt the need to maintain the practice of physical exercise, or resume the practice, due to the need to improve mental and physical health, positively influencing the quality of life and strengthening the immune system.
