- Abstract
The article discusses the use of innovative technologies such as the telemedicine in enabling multidisciplinary community service to bring chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) care to the patients' homes in Great Britain. It offers information on the patient monitoring system called Excelicare Direct, a software program developed by AxSys Technologies Inc.
