The article discusses the use of the Macedonian imperfect tense in the spoken mode of communication. Topics include the pragmatic evidential value showed by the Macedonian imperfect when used in conversations and some examples of the use of the imperfect tense wherein the speaker addresses to confirm the information and the listener has access to the source of information.
