The article discusses the study which aims to revise design procedures for flexible connections ensued by volume-change. It details the effects of volume-change that resulted from creep, shrinkage, and temperature strains of the actual precast concrete buildings. It compares the performance of volume-change with other analytical models based on strains and temperature.
