- Abstract
The article discusses initiatives taken by the Australian government over the years to address climate change. Topics discussed include passing of carbon tax in the country, Kevin Rudd assuring people to take action against climate change on becoming the prime minister, the role of politician Bob Brown in success of his party, the Green Party of Australia, 2008 global financial crisis affecting politics and the Green Party being the only party to pay attention to climate change.
