- Abstract
The article examines whether freedom of speech need to be reexamined with the easy access to information from different parts of the world due to the Internet, highlighting the violence against journalists who ridicule religion. The shooting of French magazine "Charlie Hebdo" in Paris, France is discussed which was due to its cartoons that criticized Prophet Muhammad. Also explored are the condemnation of the attack, blasphemy and religions' sense of humor.
