- Abstract
An essay is presented which mentions the controversial themes and viewpoint for literary works of the twentieth century. It outlines the four early translators and poets whose works focused on the specifically the issues raised in the ethics, theology and natural philosophy and from the point of the Lucretian departure. It also emphasizes on the fidelity with Epicurean philosophy than the effects of the ideas on the poems.
