- Abstract
The uprisings which began in the Middle East have succeeded in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya. Time will show whether these uprisings will be successful or not in Syria, Yemen, Jordan and Bahrain. The autocratic regimes have been demolished in three countries in the Middle East and the new governments have started to be formed instead of old ones. The most effective political group is the Muslim Brotherhood in the newlyformed governments in these three countries mentioned above. It is also expected that Ikhwan will be the most influential actor in Syria and Jordan when considering the probable regime changes. It is a predictable fact that the Islamists will be effective in the region due to the conservative Muslims gain to power. Therefore, it is estimated that the Islamists becoming effective and the Western states or/and the USA will be in conflict in the coming period. The possibility of not realizing this estimation should be considered as well. This study handles the possibility of not realizing of the conflict estimation. Turkey being served as a role model for these countries will also be evaluated from this point of view.
