- Abstract
The article focuses on the retirement of Dr. Bernard, who is a 70 years old endocrinologist. It discusses Bernard's confusion on decision making, whether he should only retire partially, take continuous feedback on his performance from the medical director, or take up continuing medical education (CME) activities in order improve his skills and update his knowledge. It also talks about Bernard's lack of financial planning for retirement.
