- Abstract
An interview with Maja Daruwala, director of the non-governmental organisation Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative, and Susan Wilding, project manager for the Civic Space Initiative at the civil society alliance CIVICUS, is presented. Daruwala talks about the progress of India towards compliance with international obligations. Wilding believes that human rights remain an integral part of South Africa's foreign policy. They also mention the strength of the two countries.
