- Abstract
The article focuses on tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, solvent abuse and opioids are the most common substances abused by adolescents in India. Topics include the nationwide household survey on prevalence and pattern of substance abuse in India, and the opioid withdrawal symptoms usually occur after 2‑6 days of abstinence if attempted by the dependent person.
