- Abstract
The article presents information on archaeological excavations of Native American cultural sites which were conducted in 1952 and 1953 by teams from the University of New Mexico. Various sites located in New Mexico are discussed, including pithouses near Santa Ana Pueblo which are said to display both Anasazi and Mogollon cultural influence. Other sites include a rectangular house with Gallina features, a cave containing Clovis points and dire wolf bones in blue clay, and another cave containing items related to the Hueco phase of Southern Jornada culture.
