- Abstract
The article highlights application of qualitative observational data collection methods in theoretical and conceptual development of palliative care. It interprets social processes and phenomena which contribute to the clinical practice. It facilitates in understanding what people want, especially when they are unable to verbalize. It focuses on sampling, ethics and data management. It assists in understanding care structures and improving patient’s experience, thus impacting the care outcomes.
