- Abstract
The article offers information on Epifuse epidural connector to a catheter from Portex Ltd. which was then evaluated after being used in a hospital. It says that Epifuse has a reversible binary-style clamp mechanism which was coupled with a flattened profile. Moreover , it adds that the hospital has encountered several accidental disconnections and failures in using the Epifuse due to the port's thread and the alignments of the connector-filter.
