The article explores a variety of administrative and legislative solutions before suggesting that a uniform set of autonomous vehicle law and the regulatory and other legal impediments to self-driving cars. It mentions that the problems with using a traditional tort and contract law framework to assess autonomous vehicle liability with a focus on products liability, assumption of risk, and varied state vehicle laws.
