- Authors

- Abstract
The article describes the organ that the author used to give an inaugural recital on the Opus 50 at Newby End Farm in Cumbria, England. The history of the Lewis pipework is recounted. The original Lewis organ was built in 1870 for a concert hall in London. It was rebuilt and enlarged by the bishop for Saint James' Church. The organ was moved to Saint Anne's Church. When the church closed, Neil Richerby, founder of the Lammermuir Pipe Organs, a company that designs and build organs, acquired the remaining pipework.
