- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 64-year-old white male who was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma. The patient had underwent positron emission tomography and biopsy for the pigmented oral lesion. It highlights the importance of family history in oral pigmentation or hereditary systemic diseases to the diagnosis of metastatic melanoma.
