- Abstract
The article profiles Theodosia Hadley, nature study teacher at Western Michigan College in the U.S. Theodosia Hadley worked for many reforms and civic projects. She helped win the crusade for Woman's Suffrage and the acceptance of Western Michigan College into the American Association of University Women. She helped organize the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra and played both violin and viola in the string section for more than 20 years. Theodosia Hadley had trained in the field of science and brought the methods of scientific procedure into the field of nature study.
