- Title
Clinical Questions for a New Decade.
- Authors
DAVIES, KEVIN
- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses various clinical trials that are being conducted around the world, including in Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe, as of January 2011. He claims that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was only able to test less than 1% of the trial sites, resulting in major safety issues seen in high-profile drugs like GlaxoSmithKline's Avandia and AstraZeneca's Seroquel. The opinion of Donald Barlett and James Steele on the pharmaceutical sector are cited.
