- Abstract
Antimonen ‐ Quantenpunkte mit hohem photothermischem Wirkungsgrad (45.5 %) wurden nach einer Abblätterungsmethode synthetisiert. O. C. Farokhzad, J. Shi, H. Zhang et al. zeigen in ihrer Zuschrift auf S. 12058 zudem, dass die Partikel durch Nahinfrarotlicht abbaubar und biokompatibel sind, was sie zu idealen photothermischen Wirkstoffen macht. Diese Studie eröffnet neue Anwendungsmöglichkeiten für Antimonen in der Biomedizin.
