- Abstract
WO·HO with varied morphologies were successfully fabricated via a facile hydrothermal process with the assistance of additive agents. X-ray powder diffraction and field-emission scanning electron microscopy were used to characterize samples. Based on the experimental results, the formation process of WO·HO as well as the function of additive agents were systematically investigated. Meanwhile, gas sensing researches were carried out on the annealed samples. All samples were detected a high sensitivity towards the ethanol and the corresponding gas sensing mechanism was established.
