- Abstract
Explains that a martensitic stainless steel in various temper conditions was studied using electrochemical noise (EN) technique. Detection of the onset of crack initiation or growth during slow strain rate test (SSRT) in chloride containing solutions; Stress corrosion cracking is known to occur by hydrogen embrittlement in sodium chloride containing solutions.
