- Abstract
The article discusses the developments of the library services and management for children using the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) at the Darien Library in Darien, Connecticut It mentions the role of the DDC in expanding the libraries full-scale reorganization on entire children's nonfiction collection. It outlines the library also uses patron-friendly shelf systems for its books. It also adds the importance of library layouts and labeling for proper library books arrangements.
