- Abstract
The article presents an analysis of foreign relations between the U.S. and Pakistan, as of December 2010. It addresses a public opinion survey conducted by the Pew Research Center, which found that anti-Americanism among Pakistanis tended to be both common and ill-informed. Classified American documents on the topic of Pakistan which were released by the organization Wikileaks are also discussed. These indicated consistent U.S. suspicion of the motives of Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence agency. An overview of Pakistan's turbulent political history is also included.
