- Abstract
The article offers information on the views of Stanley Cavell on cinema. He states that films present the world magically, and brings it near to people. According to him, all art forms such as photography, painting, and film are the medium to portray world, and to fulfil humanbeings' desire to come closer to it. Cavell believes that the world filled with various types of images and sceneries was always infront of people, but they were not always ready to look at it. So, through cinema men can enjoy and feel the beauty of this strange world.
