- Abstract
This article presents the results of education research into the differences in attitudes of science experts, science teachers, and curriculum writers toward 18 objectives of a hypothetical science curriculum. Illinois high school biology teachers comprised the Teacher group. Biological science professors and doctoral candidates made up the Expert group. The Writer group was composed of curricular materials authors. Objectives include student recognition of the continuing nature of science methodology and student recognition of the value of ingenuity and creative thinking in science.
